Once round the course and a distance, over 4 sets of hurdles 3 feet 6 inches high (blinded) ; 3 years old, 9 St.; 4 do., 9st. 10 lbs.; 5 do,, lOst. 4lbs.; 6 do. and aged, 11 st. The Cantesbusy Cup, value £50, added to a sweepstakes of £4 each. Heats 2 miles, 3 years old, Sst. 9 lbs.; 4 do., 9st. 7 lbs.; 5 do., 10* st. 7 lbs. ; 6 do. and aged, 11 st.; three horses to start or no race. The winner to pay £o towards expenses. Mr. C. B. Horses to be named within a Hof an hour after the last heat for the Galloway Race. To be handicapped by the stewards. Once round and a distance. In all Races, except the Canterbury Cup and the Ladies' Purse, two horses (tbebona fide pro-, perty of separate persons) to start, or no race. No person not a member of the Canterbury Jockey Club, or a subscriber of at least £l to the Racing fund will be allowed to ruu a horse on tbe course. The Races to commence each day at twelve o'clock precisely, half an hour between each heat. - In all cases the rules of the Canterbury Jockey Club will lie strictly enforced. Parties are particularly cautioned against bringing dogs upon the course. The Settling will take place at 3 p.m., on Saturday, March 10th, at the Golden Fleece Hotel. Thomas Cass, (Acting) Secretary.
