NELSON.

(From the Nelson Examiner, Jan. 6.) . Accident to the Zingari SiEAME».r--On Wednesday evening last the Zingari steamer, in being hauled off the Boulder Bank, where she had been laid up for the purpose of having her bottom cleaned, was by some means which we cannot at present clearly understand, thrown over on her side, and her bow being ia deep water, while her stern hung on the bauk, the water rushed down her fore hatchway, and very quickly tilled the vessel, and she now lies witbow sunk in ten fathom. Until we can better satisfy ourselves upon whom the blarae'oftbis untoward accident should rest, we will refrain from all comment upon it; but that very serious blame attaches, to some oue there can be no doubt, for otherwise, on a fine moonlight night, in perfectly smooth water, could such an accident have happened. 'The efforts to raise the Zingari have not yet, we are sorry to say, been attended with success, although she has been placed on her keel, and, as far as can be ascertained, her hull has sustained no [damage. Means are being taken which will shortly, we hope, get her once more afloat. Captain Milton has demanded an inquiry into the cause of the accident, and when this has been made, we shall know where the blame rests.
