PjpHE Provincial Government are prepared to enter into arrangements for the establishment of Steam communication between Lyttelton and the Plains in one of the following ways. Firstly, by the grant of a bonus to any persnn or company who shall establish such communication, calculated on the loss likely to be sustained. Secondly, by guaranteeing a certain rate of dividend on the capital embarked in the undertaking. Thiidly.by advancing a part of the capital required.
