LOCAL INTELLIGENCE.

Concert at Lyttelton.—The Lyttelton Choral Society gave their fourth Public Concert in the Town Hall, Lyttelton, on Wednesday evening last. The pieceb selected were of a sacred character, from the compositions of Handel, Mendellsohn, and other eminent masters. The several choruses were effectively rendered, reflecting great credit upon the Society. We hope that the Society will be soon in a position to attempt one of the more popular Oratorios.
