Married.—On the 22nd July, at his father's residence Waikowaiti, Otago, by the Rev. W. Kirkc, William, second son,of John Jones, Esq. to Mary Sarah Robinson, eldest daughter of William Chapman. Esq., of Cluistchurch, (Canterbury Settlement, N. Z.) Surgeon, the second son of the late John Chapman, Esq., of Alwent Hall, near Darlington, Durham.
Wellington.—We ought to inform our readers that the whole of the members of this Province, Wakefield excepted, ably, supported the ex-Ministers in the patriotic course they have adopted.— Wellington Independent.
An address lias been presented to Dr. Fitzgerald, the Colonial Surgeon, by his friends, together with a purse of £220, on the occasion of his departure for England. Dr. Fitzgerald will be very much regretted at Wellington by all parlies.
