ALPORT begs to inform Stockowners and others, that he intends holding a Public Auction, Weekly, on Saturday (bein"- Market-day), at the Golden Fleece Hotel, Christchurch, for the Sale of Stock, Merchandise, &c. The Auctioneer begs especially to call the attention of the public to the above sale, as he is confident it includes the largest and most valuable collection of private property ever yet offered to the public in this Settlement. The .whole of the articles are well known to be of the best and most useful description, and the present will be a first rate opportunity for Storekeepers and families to lay in stocks, as there is no doubt there will be an immense rise in prices at home owing to the Russian war.
