Cotteril], 8.A., St. John's College, Cambridge, Head Master. Fees, £2 10s. a quarter, to be paid in advance. The instruction in this School will comprise the Classics, the Elements of Mathematics, History, Geography, Arithmetic, Book-keeping, Writing, &c. The religious teaching will be in accordance with the doctrines of the Church of England, but, at the request of the parents or guardians, pupils may receive general instruction without such religious teaching. Examinations will be held by tlie head master every month, and a monthly report will be sent to the parents of' the progress and conduct of the beys. An examination will also be held half-yearly. Boys to buy their own books, &c, which will be supplied by the Head Master or Mr. Ingrain Slnimpton. School hours. Morning, from 9to 12. Afternoon, from 2 to half-past 4 in summer; and from 2 to 4 in winter. Half holidays on Wednesdays and Saturdays. " - ' j Six weeks holidays to be given in the summer and five weeks in the winter.
