REGISTRATION OF VOTERS. Resident Magistrate's Office, Lytlelton, March 20, 1854. "M"OTICE IS GIVEN.—AII persons de- -*-* sirous of having their names added to the Electoral Roll for the ensuing year must forward their claims in writing some time during the month of April, stating the District or Districts in respect of Avhich such claims shall be made, and signed either by the claimant or by some other person in his name and by his authority, also the place of abode^ calling or business of the claimant, and the qualification, in respect of which such claims may be made. Claims to be addressed, to the Resident Magistrate, and forwarded as follows :— For the town of Christchurch—To the Resident Magistrate's Room, Land Office, Christchurch. For the Christchurch Country District — To the Resident Magistrate's Room, Land Office. Christchurch; or to the Resident Magistrate's Office, Lyttelton. For the town of Lyttelton—To the Resident Magistrate's Office, Lyttelton. The words " Claim to Register " being inserted above the direction. To prevent misunderstanding-the public are informed that the boundary line between the Akaroa and Christchurch Districts consists in a right line drawn from the Conical Rocks midway between the eastern headland of Port Albert, and the western headland of Pigeon Bay, due south across Banks' Peninsula, meeting the sea at the western headland of Island Bay. All claims lying to the eastward of sucL boundary line being in the Akaroa and all to the westward in the Christchurch Country District. Chahles Simeon, Resident Magistrele. ANY Persons having claims on the estate of the late linn of Collier and Mason, are requested to send the amounts to Mr. Mason, Baker, &c, London Street, iv order that they maybe examined, ami, if correct, discharged ; and any persons indebted to the late firm are requested to pay their respective accounts forthwith to Mr. Mason.
