PUBLIC NOTICE. HHHE time at.the offices, of the Provincial -"- Government, at Lyitelton, -will in, future be regulated by the Clock at the Bank. Charles Simeon, Resident Magistrate. PUBLIC NOTICE. WHEREAS by an Ordinance of the Superintendent and Provincial Council entituled " The Church Property Trust Ordinance, Sess. 11. No. 3." it is enacted that a special general meeting of certain Trustees therein named may at any time be called by any three Trustees, by a > public advertisement of the same in a public newspaper published in the Canterbury Settlement, three times at the least, the first of such times being fourteen days at the least before the day of meeting. Now therefore, we the undersigned, being four Trustees under the authority and for the purposes of the said Ordinance, do hereby call a special general meeting of the said Trustees to be holden at the schoolroom at Christchurch on Tuesday the 4th day of April next ensuing, at the hour of noon. It is proposed to bring the following business before the .meeting. 1. To appoint a Committee of Management. 2. To consider what bye-laws may be necessary for the conduct of the business of the Trust. 3. To appoint a Secretary to the Trustees. 4. To communicate with the Agent of the Canterbury Association on the subject of transferring to the Trustees the Church property within the settlement. O. Mathtas. Chas. Simeon, Cox way L. ANY Persons having claims on the estate of the late firm of Collier and Mason, are requested to send'the amounts to Mr. Mason,.-Baker, &c, London Street, in order that they may be examined, and, if correct, discharged ; and any persons indebted to the late firm are requested to pay their respective accounts forthwith to Mr. Mason. NOTICE. ALL PERSONS having claims against the Undersigned, aie requested to send them in or before the Ist of July, 1554, and all persons indebted to the same are desired to discharge their respective accounts on or before the above-mentioned date, to prevent legal proceedings being taken.
