STAYNER'S LINE OF New Zealand Packets direct from London. - rp H E Undersigned is -*- authorised by Messrs. . ftjOl^^^X Filby and Co., and Joseph F^^^^VvStayner, to call the attenj^^r^K^ tirni of the Colonists of Canterbury and New Zealand generally, to the fact that they have resumed chartering, at short and regular intervals, firstclass, fast-sailing, passenger Ships to the different Settlements in New Zealand. The vessels carry surgeons —are commanded by Captains of great experience in the passenger trade—and the most careful provision is made for the comfort of the passengers during the voyage. The following fine vessels have already been despatched: TONS. Mahtoree 350 Capt. R. Cowan. Eagle 400 Capt. H. G. Looke. The greatest attention will be paid to the punctual despatch of vessels chartered by the above well-known firms; and as it is highly desirous that a continuous emigration to this Settlement be encouraged, the undersigned will be prepared to facilitate the views of those parties who may be disposed to send to England for their friends. The " Eagle," on arrival, will be laid on to ship wool for London, and the undersigned will make liberal advances on wool, and other New Zealand produce, consigned to the above gentlemen. A. J.
