W., and foaled Sep. 28tb, 1845, wassyot by "Cap a pie," out of " Giiselda," by " Dover;" graiidam," Gertrude" by " Trumpet," her.dam "Gidley." " Cap-a-pie" (imported) by the " Colonel" out of" Sister to Cactus." See Stud-Book, vol. iv. p. 450. " Dorev," (imported) by " Patron," out of " Maid of-Kent." See Stud-Book, vol. iv. p. 255. " Trumpet," (imported) own brother to " Bugle," by " Tivesias" out of a Reubens mare. Glendon is perfectly sound, having done no work, and is, in every respect, calculated for this district: being a most powerful horse in a small compass.
