New Church, RiecartonAT a Meeting held at Riecarton, on the 10th inst., J. C. Watts Russell, Esq., in the chair, the following resolutions were unanimously passed; " That the offer of £100 made by Mr. Sewell from the Ecclesiastical^ Fund, towards building a church at Riecarton, be accepted : " That the most desirable site for the proposed Church would be on rural section, No. 160, at the junction of the Oxford and Upper Lincoln roads." The following subscriptions have been promised. Rev. O. Mathias, twenty acres of land for the site, and towards the endowment of the church : and 1,000 ft, timber towards the building. £ s. d.
