The contemplated enlargement consists of a gable on the north side of the building, into which it is proposed to move the organ and vestry, the space at present occupied by the organ and vestry at the west end of the building to be filled with additional seats,; and of a lean-to on the south side of the.building, opposite the gable. This arrangement will afford about 100 additional sittings, mating in all about 300 sittings in the Church. The plan designed by Mr. Luck, was submitted for inspection to the meeting. It includes an additional entrance-door and porch. It is estimated that the expense of the enlargement, including the addition of backs to the school-forms, at present in use in part of the Church, new seats and other extras, will not exceed £250. There is a-subscription list already amounting to £120, and a surplus of offeitovy-money, including the special collection on the morning of Sept. 27th, to the amount of about £50.
Subscriptions are earnestly requested to make up the required sum.
