XV., and foaled Sep. 28th, 1845, was got by " Cap a pie," out of " Griselda," by " Dover ;" grandam, " Gertrude" by " Trumpet, I,' her dam "Gidley." " Cap-a-pie" (imported) by the " Colonel" out of" Sister to Cactus." See Stud-Book, vol, iv. p. 450. " Dover," (imported) by " Patron," out of " Maid of Kent." See Stud-Book, vol. iv. p. 258. " Trumpet," (imported) own brother to " Bugle," by " Tiresias," out of a Reubens mare. Glendhn is perfectly sound, having done no work, and is, in every respect, calculated for this district: being a most powerful horse in a small compass.
