All in first-rate condition and quiet. Also, 2 Imported Cows, one with calf. 1 do. Bull. 1 do. Entire Horse. The above were selected from some of the best Stocks in Sydney ; and having been some time in the Colony, are now in good condition, and thoroughly acclimatised. WEEKLY SALE by AUCTION Of Cattle, Horses, &c., at Christchnrch. MR. ALPORT begs to inform Stockowners and others, that he intends holding a Public Auction, Weekly, on Saturday (being Market-day), at the Golden Fleece Hotel, Christehurch, for the Sale of Stock, Merchandise, &c N.B. Parties desirous of submitting Stock, &c. to Public Competition will oblige by signifying the same on or before the previous Thursday. Important Sale of Merchandise, ex " Wellington." MR. ALPORT has received instructions to Sell by Public Auction, at his Auction Rooms, on Wednesday next, 6th July, at 12 o'clock, noon, precisely, the following Merchandise, viz.:— 2 Tons of Sydney Flour, in 200 lb. bags, 3 Do. New Zealand do., 100 lb. bags, 10 Chests fine Congou Tea, 20 Half Do. Do., 3 Tons of Pampanga, West India, and other Sugars, 15 Bags Patna Rice, 50 Boxes Soap, 5 Do. Composition Candles, 10 Tierces prime Mess Beef, 2 Tons coarse Salt, 1 Do. fine Do., 1 Cask Oatmeal, 3 Do. Whiting, . 1 Ton Washing Soda, Sole Leather, 4 Coils N. Z. Rope, 40 Bags Bran, 5 Trusses Hay, Drapery, Slops, Millinery, and other Goods. Teems libehal. 2, Norwich. Quay, Lyttelton, July 1, 1853. To Purchasers of Sheep. "POR SALE, 4,000 EWES, in Lamb, -*- bred in the Colony, and perfectly free from all disease. Parties wishing to Stock their Runs without delay would do well to embrace the present opportunity, the flocks from which the above are selected being so well known in the colony for their breed, their wool realizing the highest market prices of the N. Z. brands. For further particulars, apply to John T. Paekinson, Mahoenui, Lyttelton; or, on Saturdays, at the Stock-Market, Christehurch, To Purchasers of Stock. THE Undersigned having made arrangement for the supply of 10,000 Sheep, and 1,000 head of Cattle, are ready to receive orders for same.
