LYTTELTON LOAN SOCIETYTHE Shares in this Society, consisting of 100 at £5 each, having been all subscribed for, it is proposed that a call of £1 per bhare shall be made, which call must be paid on Monday next, the 4th of July, 1853; and applications for loans must be made on the following Tuesday evening, at the Office of the Society, No. 1, Canterbury Street, between the hours of 7 and 9 o'clock, p.m.; all applications will be submitted to the Committee of Management, and if approved of by them, will be paid on the following Tuesday evening between the same hours. Application for forms for a proposed loan can be had of the Secretary. The Company is formed for the purpose of lending sums varying from £1 to £20, upon the party borrowing giving his promisary note endorsed by two sureties for the payment of the sum, with interest at 10 per cent added, to be paid by weekly sums of 2s. in the pound. , Committee of Management.
