Auction Sales.—Mb. Longden, 3rd May. —The Sale of Heifers, ex " Hashemy," took place at Christchurch on Monday last, and was well attended. Prices averaged £10 ss. per head, the principal buyers being dairymen. The prices seemed too high to tempt dealers. Mr. Alport, 4th May. —Second quality Flour, in 2001b. bags, £40 per ton ; Tea, in chests, £5 15s. Od. ; Coffee, IOJd. per lb.; Raisins, B|d. per lb.; W. I. Sugar, 4#d. per lb.
