CHRISTCHURCH MARKET. That it is very desirable that a fixed Market should at once be established in Christchurch, for the sale of Stock and Agricultural Produce. . That the Market be held weekly, on every Saturday. 3. That a Committee of twelve gentlemen be appointed to draw np rules for the general management and regulation of the Market. • 4. That the following gentlemen'be a Committee :—Messrs. Brittan, Deans, Bishop Bray, Brown; Beard, Fooks, Longden, Austin, Inwood, Gould, and Gibbs; and, that five be a quorum. 5. That the first Market be held on Saturday the 14th instant, •• •"■• ' W. G. Resident Magistrates Office, Lyttelton, April'2l, 1853. \ LL Persons desirous of Registering -*-*- Claims to Vote at the ensuing Elections of Superintendent, of Members of the Provincial Council, and of the House of Representatives of New Zealand, must forward such Claims in writing on or before the 15th day of May following, stating the name of the District or Districts in respect of which they shall be made, and signed either by the claimant, or by some other person, in his name and by his authority ; also the place of abode, and calling or business of the claimant, and the qualification in respect of which such claims may be made. Claims to be addressed to the Resident Magistrate and forwarded as follows: — For the Town of Christchurch —To the Land Office, Christchuvch. For theChristchurchCountry District —To the Land Office, Christchurch; or Resident Magistrate's Office, Lyttelton.
