Business for the next ordinary meeting, Wednesday Evening, December Ist, 1852. Ist, Mr. Alport's proposition:— "That it is the opinion of this. Society that a public meeting be convened for the purpose of considering the most fit and proper persons for the office of Superintendent, and for the representation of the town of Lyttelton in the General Assembly and Provincial Council." 2nd, Mr. Godley's lecture on " the Constitutional Law lately enacted for New Zealand.
