ggjAncTioN Sales, July 6.— Mr. Alport. Canterbury Association's Land Sale at Christchurch.—All the Sections in the Town of Christchurch, numbering 160 Half-acre Lots were purchased at the upset price of £24 each' for the Ecclesiastical and Educational Trust Fund. 51 Quarter Acre Sections in Lyttelton were purchased for the same fund at the upset price of £12 each. The remaining 5 Sections passed into the hands of private purchasers at an advance of £1 on the upset price.
