May 19th.— Mr. Alport. —A sale of Furniture realized very good prices. A fine well bred Durham Cow, £30, a halfbred do. Bull Calf, 2 months old, £5.
Wheat and Flour.—Sydney Flour Mills, 30th April.—The quantity of wheat brought to market this week has not been great, and continues to be readily purchased at from 6s. 6d. to 6s. 9d. per bushel, for the best samples. The demand for Flour is still very active, and prices are firm at £18 per ton for fine, and £\6 for seconds. Bran, Is. 4d. per bushel.—T. Barker and Go's mills, April 30th. The supply of Wheat this week has been very moderate, and has found ready purchasers at from ss. 6d. to 6s. 9d. per bushel. The price of Flour remains without alteration, viz., £18 per ton for fine, seconds £16. The demand still continues. Bran, Is. 2d. to Is, 4d. per bushel. Victoria Flour mills, April 30th. There has been a good supply of wheat this week and prices are not quite so firm, 6s. 3d. to 6s. 9d. per bushel has been given with a disinclination to purchase. Flour remains at last week's rates, viz., £18 for fine, and £16 per ton for seconds. Bran, Is. 3d. per bushel. Biscuit.—T. Barker and Co., cabin, 285.; seconds, 235. per cwt.
