The supporters and members of this confederation will be gratified to learn that the friends of the anti-transportation cause, and of the col-^ ouies in England have promptly responded to the appeal of the executive board, and that an active organisation has been commenced in London, which already embraces most of the tried parliamentary and mercantile men already known in the movement, who are prepared to adopt all the measures in their power for urging1 the claims of these colonies on the notice of the parliament and the country at large. On the i^eeting of Parliament, Sir William Moles\fej6vth would renew his motion in the House of Commons on transportation to Van Dieman's Land^and will be supported by Mr. Ewart, Mr. Adderly, and other members.
