"TMDTICE is hereby given, that on Tues--»-i day, the 6th of January next, 1852, a PUBLIC* AUCTION will be held in Lyttelton, for the sale of TOWN LANDS in Lyttelton and Christchurch. Parties desirous of purchasing any particular section, may have the same included in the list of those for sale, by making application in writing to that effect, at the offices of the Association, either at Lyttelton or Christchurch, on or before the 24th December next. To give effect to such application it'will be necessary to deposit the upset price of each section, viz. 241., for the half acre section in the capital, and 12/. the quarter acre section in the Port Town, at the Union Bank, Lyttelton, to the credit of the Canterbury Association, on or before the same day. Kauri Pine in Scantlings. 11,300 ft. inch Totara Boarding. To be delivered on the Jetty, or at the works as may be agreed on. Tenders to state the time within which the whole or parts of the delivery will be made. A Schedule of the Scantlings may be seen at the Canterbury Association's Offices on and after Monday, Nov. 24, and tenders will be, received up to Monday, the Ist of December. Any additional information required may be obtained by applying to B. W. Mountfort, Esq., the Architect. The Committee do not bind themselves to accept any tender.
