A PUBLIC MEETING will be held at -LJ- the White Hart Hotel, Christchurcii, on Saturday, the 11th October, at One o'clock, p.m., for the purpose of protesting against the Continuance of Transportation to the Australasian Colonies. Longden and Le Cren's Store, Lyttelton, will be sold to pay expenses, if not claimed within one month from this date. Butterworth, chaplain, for their kindly behaviour to all on board, and their attention to their several duties; nor would they on any account fail to mention the efficiency of the other officers and crew.
