NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on Tuesday, the 7th of October next, a Public Auction will be held in Lyttelton for the sale of Town Lands in Christchurch and Lyttelton. Parties desirous of purchasing any particular section, may have the same included in the list of those for sale, by making application in writing to that effect, at the offices of the Association, either at Lvttelton or Christchurch, on or before the 23rd of September next. To give effect to such application it will be necessary to deposit the upset price of each section, viz. 241., for the half acre section in the capital, and 121. the quarter acre section in the Port Town, at the Union Bank, Lyttelton, to the credit of the Canterbury Association, on or before the same day.
