JAMES SWINBOURNE, Proprietor of the above Establishment, has much pleasure in returning his sincere thanks to the Public of Lyttelton, the Plains, and the surrounding Bays, for the kind Patronage bestowed on him, and begs to assure them that it will ever afford him pleasure to serve his old customers with the various goods their wants require, at such prices as cannot fail to suit_their circumstances ; and in order to follow out the above, he has purchased several choice Invoices of English Goods direct from the Manufacturers, which will be sold at prices that will defy competition. I do. Gentlemen's and Children's Black and Drab Wide-awake (or Felt) Hats. 1 case Superfine Cloth Caps, assorted. 1 do. blue Serge Shirts and Gentlemen's Belts. 1 do. Perfumery. 1 do. Looking Glasses. 2 Crates Crockery Ware, consisting of Plates, Mugs, Jugs, Basins, Cups and Saucers, Dishes, Ewers, and Basins,^ Chambers, Washhand Basins and Jugs, cut Wine Glasses, Tumblers and Decanters. 1 bale of Pilot Cloth Coats and Trousers. 1 case of Ladies Cloth Boots and Leather Shoes. 1 bale Moleskin, Cord, Fancy Trousers, and Linen Blouses. 1 bale 72 inch Grey Domestic Lancashire and Welsh Flannel, Cotton Braces, and Woollen Stockings. The usual Supplies of Groceries ; and Ironmongery, consisting of Locks, Bolts, Hinges, Nails, Glass, Fenders and Fire-Irons, Sash Rollers, Turkey and Scythe Stones, Axes, Spades, Shovels, Camp Ovens, Tea Kettles, Pots, Pans, and Saucepans, Italian Irons, Brass Buttons, Shutter Fasteners, Hoes, Sash Fasteners, Knives and Forks, and many useful articles to numerous too mention. J. S. has several first-rate Boot and Shoe Makers, (lately arrived from England,) constantly at work on his premises, and is therefore in a position to make all kinds of Boots and Shoes to order on the shortest notice. All kinds of Leather and Grindery on hand. FOR SALE, A CASE of Superior GARDEN SEEDS -£*- from the house of Noble and Sons. Will be sold together, or in lots, to suit the convenience of purchasers. ALL Persons who stand indebted unto John Tulloch, of Lyttelton, in the Canterbury Settlement, New Zealand, Auctioneer, are hereby required to pay the amount of their several and respective debts unto Mr. Joseph Longden, or Mr. Gilbert Pickett, both of Lyttelton, aforesaid, in trust for the equal benefit of his creditors. TTTHEREAS John Tttlxoch, of Lyt- * * telton, in the Canterbury Settlement, New Zealand, Auctioneer, hath by Indenture, bearing date the 3rd day of Sept., 1851, assigned over all his Estate and Effects unto Joseph Longdbn and Gilbert Pickett, both of Lyttelton, aforesaid, Storekeepers, In Trust for the equal benefit of such of his Creditors as shall come in and execute the same within two months from the date thereof, Notice is hereby given, that the said Indenture or Deed of Assignment now lies at my office, in London Street, Lyttelton, for the inspection and execution of such of the Creditors of the said John Tulloch, as shall come in and execute the same within the time aforesaid, And such of the Creditors of the said John Tulloch, as shall neglect or refuse so to do, will be excluded all benefit arising therefrom. i RICHAKD WoRMALD, Solicitor for the Trustees.
