To Importers of Sheep. ■jVT°TI9E IS HEREBY GIVEN to -J-^l Parties importing, or intending to import, Sheep to this colony, that the strictest scrutiny will be exercised in the inspection, and not only will a heavy penalty be inflicted'on all sheep landed with scab oraiiy other contagious disease, but the full penalty of 100/. will likewise be inflicted for any diseased sheep, or flock of sheep, found depasturing on any part of the peninsula, or any other land, the same not being the property of, or rented by the owner. Shepherds having charge of sheep, known to be diseased, are actionable if any of the said /lock are allowed to stray, or are found dead and left in the way of contaminating other (locks. John T.
