A book for the purpose will remain at the Land-Office, Lyttelton, accessible from 10 till 3 o'clock each day, or the like object may be effected by communication with the Secretary ; but members, by virtue of Power-of-Attorney, or other authority of an absentee, will be required to produce the instrument at the time of registering their names. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that Mr. Boys, one of the assistant surveyors of the Canterbury Association, will be in attendance at the Land Office. Cliristchurch, on Wednesday next, the 2nd April, at 9 o'clock, a.m., to put the proprietors in possession of the following sections, 155, 153, 78, 95, 85, 108, 110, 111, 139, 56, 68, 114, and 149, situated on the Christchurch and Harewood Road near Riccarton : and on Friday next the 4th April, at 9 o'clock, a.m., to put the proprietors in possession of the following sections, 46, 136, 133, 142, 112, 135, 151, 148, 5, 3, 25, 150, 119, situated on the road between Christchurch and Papanui Wood. Mr. Davie will also be in attendance at the Land Office, Christchurch, on Friday next, the 4th April, at 9 o'clock, a.m., to put the proprietors in possession of the following sections, 26, 29, 30, 33, 41, 87, 90, and 125,"being situated on the River Avon, east of the Bricks at Christchurch. To give effect to such application, it will be necessary to deposit the upset price of each Section, viz. " 24/. for the Half-acre Section in the Capital, and 121. the Quarter-acre Section in the Port Town," at the Union Bank, to the credit of the Canterbury Association, on or before the same day.
