The railwav excursion to Waikato, yesterday was a great success, and all speak highly of the arrangements made by Mr Hudson for the comfort and convienence of the publc. It is estimated that ten thousand people visited the Domain where the sports were held, and everything passed off successfully without a hitch or accidednt of any kind. The Demonstration Handicap resulted as follows • Craig 1 ; Mormoch 2 ; Cosson 3. Craig also won the Hurdle Handicap easily Whiteside second. The Obstacle race was won by McDermott, McCarthy ' second, and Cosson third. The St. Patrick's Handicap was won by Mr 0 Hara. Telegraphic news continued in thi Supplement.
