The Little IJn strikes from the shoulder And never below the helt, The greater the wrong : then the holder And heavier the blow will be felt. The Little Un's weight may be light, He's been trained in a hardy school : The oppressor to strike, the wrong toright | And boldly speak out 'gainst misrule. His ink contains no milk and water, Nor seeks to disguise the plain fact, But those that fight f oul he will slaughter And as honestly write so he'll act.

From the net of class feeling, the lion By the mouse again shall be freed, When mammonites all their games try on The oppressed shall find a friend in their need.

Then water this plant with your favors, And help it to grow to a tree, Independant and sturdy its brahches ne'er wavers, But will shelter the honest and free,
