THE LITTLE UN.
TheLittle Un strikes from the shoulder And never below the belt, The greater the wrong : then the bolder And heavier the blow will be felt. The Little TJn's weight may be light, He's been trained in a hardy school : The oppressorto strike,the wrongtoright And boldly speak out 'gainst misrule. His ink contains , no inilk and water, Nor seeks to disguise the plain fact, But th o s e that fight f oul he will slaughter And as honestly write so he'll act. From the net of class feeling, the lion By the mouse again shall be freed, W hen mammonites alltheir games try on The oppressed shall find a friend in their need. Then water this plant with your favors, And help it to grow to a tree, Independant and sturdy its brahches ne'er wavers, But will shelter the honestand free,
