Many people of influence support her claim. A young horse belonging to Mr E. Eobertson, which they were trying in single buggy harness, took fright at something in the Devonport-road and started off helter-skelter along the Strand, throwing the occupants out, knocking down the flagstaff in front of Turner and Buddle's Auction Mart, and a post in front of Mr Bodell's store it was brougt up at Horne and Eeid's corner by the vehiecle coming in contact with the brickwork and capsizing. The buggy was considerably knocked about and oue of the occupants was bruised about the thighs.
