This Day. Found dead. Yesterday afternoon Mr W. Keynell informed Sergeant Green that he had been desired by Mr Albert Martin to report that Mr Harry Martin, his son had gone out shooting on the previous day and had not returned, a search was made that afternoon when the body bearing a wound was discovered quite dead, in a swamp about half a mile from Mr Martin's residence. Steeplechase Match. The steeplechase match for £50 a side will take place this afternoon on the Takapuna race-eourse between Julia Ann and Whalebone. The body recovered. The body of the boy Sinclair who was drowned from the steamer Glenelg on Regatta day when returning from St Pauls Sunday School excursion, was found off Rangitoto reef, yesterday afternoon.
Mr. Booth's advice to young women. . Grreat Temperance reform. Mr Booth delivered an address last eyening at the Theatre Royal, to young women. Tlnre was a crowded attendance. Mr Booth delivered acharacteristic address, in which good sense, humor, and pathos were blended, he urged every young woman to take the pledge, join a church, and then get married. Therewere 271 pledgestaken and 333 blue-ribbons were donned making a grandtotal of 2569 pledgesr, and 3136 blue-ribbons.
