lhis Day. The Harbour Board yesterday unanimously adopted the motion of the Chairman calling the attention of the Admiralty to the suitability of Auckland as a naval station. Some workmen excavating at Emily place yesterday, found a portion of a kauri tree in a good state of preservation, at about forty feet from the surface.
