WELLINGTON,
This Day. The Governor arrived from Lyttleton by the Penguin on Wednesday. It is understood that Jiis return is in conneetion with the annexation by Germany of North ir iLNew Guinea. Reports received^by the Native Office from the W est Coast state that everything is quiet at the meeting being held by Titokowaru's people. The gathering is simply to afford the tribes an opportunity for discussing matters in regard to legislation affecting the interests of the Natives themselves.
