Mulium in parvo. Wednesday, December 24th, 1884. A merry Christmas to you all. Mr E. Eobertson is the successful tenderer for carrying the mail between Tauranga and Paeroa. Divine Service will be held in Trinity Church tomorrow — morning, 1 1 o'clock evening, 7 o'clock; and at the Schoolhouse C-reeton, at 8 30 a.ni. Those interested are reminded that the Union Prayer Meeting will take place in the Wesley an Church this evening at 7 30. Messrs l lorne and Ilarvey's shop presents quite a gay appearance being decorated with Christmas flowers, evergreens, i'erns, &c. W e would again draw attention to the excursion per Katikati, to the Mount, on Boxing-day the fare each way is only one shilling. The first boat willleave the town wharf at 9 a.in., and at intervals durmgthe day. MrT. W. Ithodes received another consignment of goods suitable for Christmas presents, per s.s. Wellington, yesterday. All who are desirous of making Christmas purchases to the best advantage should pay a visit to his establishment. The 1 ost Office will be closed on v 'hristmas day; but will be open from 9 till 10 a.ni. on Boxingday, a delivery will be made by the letter carrier, at 8 a.m. on the latter day. On Christmas and Boxing day, the Telegraph Office vlll be open to the public from 9 to 10 a.m. and from 7 till 8 p.m. The hrst boat conveying the Oood Templar picnic-party will leave the town wharf at 8 30 a.m. on Boxingday. This pienic promises to be a greater success than last year, and that is saying a good deal. All those who wish to spend their holiday pleasantly cannot do better than attend.
