This day. The report that a dennan named Yandyke, aged 45, had shot a girl named Wadsworth, aged 17, with a revolver, while she was dancing at a ball, has proyed true. The girl who was shot in the cheek is progressing favorably, jealonsy is the motive assigned for the deed. Yandyke was charged at the Police Court, on Saturday, with shooting Miss Wadsworth, and remanded for a week. He waited for the girl on the road, but missing her he went into the ball-room.
