In to-day's "Buster" appears a local which if you have space for, should be printed in full. — "In reply to "Vindex," &c., we are in a position to state that the contract alluded to extencls until May, 1886." In the same paper appears a leader headed "The Eraxco-Chinese Difeiculty." What do the people here care about the Eraaco-Chinese; but a contract such as the one between the two Companies means monopoly, high fares, and general extortion to the deteriment of Tauranga. The "Buster" writes FrancoChinese and other similar rubbish because they are afraid of loosing their share of the plunder accruing from the above named contract. They might lose the advts. I an, &c.,
