'By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. A two-storeyed wooden boarding house, known as Edenville, situated in Eden Crescent, was gutted completely by lire at an early hour this morning. Eight boarders in the upper portion were trapped and had to leap from the balcony to save their lives, John Trbuhnvitch, aged 44, sustained a broken tibia, and N. P. McPherson, severe burns m the arms and neck. On*’ of those who jumped .safely was a young bidv. Mrs f4tone, proprietress of the establishment.
