The latter batted first and were ail out for 80. RAIN IN INVERCARGILL. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, This Day. The Australians resumed their innings, Ponsford (45) and Jackson (43) continuing to bat. Rain came on at noon, when the score was 174. Both batsmen were then 81. There are signs of the weather clearing.
