r Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd.. -eport:—At Levin on Tuesday we submitted large entries of both sheep and cattle to a good attendance of buyers. The demand for yovfng cattle was somewhat slack, but other linos were well competed for and altogether we had a good clearance at satisfactory prices: — Fat shorn wethers, 335; fat shorn ewets, 28s to 30s od; 2-tnoth wethers (shorn), 25s 6d, 26s to 275; mixed 2toothis, 24s 2d to 2iis; woolly 2-looths, 27s 6d to 335; heavy 'fat cows and heifers, £I' 4 18s, £14 19s to £15 6s; light fat cows £11 15s, £11 '19s, £12 7s. £12 lis, £12 153 to £I*2 18s Gd; prime voalers £2 6s, £2 8s, «■ £3 '18s to £3 19s; light vealers, 355, 37s 6d to £2 2s ; 3yeair steers £12 to £12 Is; cows and calves (low conditioned) £9 2s 6d, to £9 ss; store cows £8 to £8 18s; 2-year steers £8 12s 6d to £9; yearling steers £4, £4 2s 6d, £4 10r< £5 to £5 10s; yearling heifers (good) £5 15s to £6; weaner steers £2 15s; springing heifers £12 7s 6d to £13 ss; dairy cows in milk £11 5s to £12; weaners 275; stores 37s to £2 3s: light porkers £3 10s to £4 10s; heavy porkers, £5 to £5 ss.
