A telegram from Auckland to-dny ' say* that a diving suit invented by I. W. Walters, of AuckTandi. was tested in Baurnki Gulf. The inventor .yith a suit on descended to a. depth of 321 fathoms whidh is said to be a world s ; "record for diving with that kiind or apparatus.
