Demobilisation.
Influenza, conditions at the military camps liave shown so much improvement, during the past three days that the Minister of Defence expects the Department to be in a position to begin the final demobilisation of men before the end, of this week. It has been stated that the authorities had arranged to evacuate three hundred men daily. This is incorrect. Arrangementß have been made to set free three hundred meir daily from each oamp and a greater number if shipping and waterside services become normal. The" demobilisation of the New Zea<land army in the field is iu the hands of the Imperial! authorities 60 far as trans- : port arrangements are ooncerned. It is hoped, however, to secure a large num- I ber of vessels without delay, and; bring ; as many soldiers home at one time bp I can bp managed. v
