On© of the hardest worker,s was i';ho Borough Overseer (Mr CI tannings) who, with hie staff, commenced at an early hour on Wednesday morning to get the grounds in order and put in a heavy day's work before the public arrived. ganised, with Cr Matheson, the open- j air concert in the evening. The tea- i chers and others responsible for the dressing of the children in the proces- ! sion are to be commended for the taste and expedition displayed.. Thanks are also due to Mr A. L. Williams for two , tins of lollies, Mr Dean for a gift of j 50 jars of cordials, the Levin Dairy Co. ' for ten gallon;; of milk. [
