Miss Adkin, assisted by-'Mrs Ronald, and Mies Herd were in charge of the Red Cross Shop on Saturday. Tho takings amounted to £10 17s. Th© following were the various competition winners: Net collar, Miiss Tully; night-' dress, Mrs J. A. Jiastoji; Sunday tea, Mr Westropp; canary, Miss Ruth Hobson; snake, Mra Gilchrist.
