It tells ithe story of John Kemp who flees from civilisation because of a cross in love and joins a tribe of Indians. He wed/ j Morning Star—a little Indian girl—and in her savage sincerity finds true love. Their daughter Alona at length grows to womanhood and goes f:o the city to be educator! into the ways of wihite people. An intense romance follows. In her changed surroundings Alona becomes a dream of beauty. There is only one bar to her happiness—her IndKan blood. How matters eventually arrange themselves may best be left to the "film to tell.
