"An EvcTn .Break," "The Dudliew of [ Doubt" and Rex Beach's Travelog will b© the principal items of to-night's pro. gramme at Fiarland's Pictuires and with so many fine films should please patrons for the week-end. On Monday night, a stirring Vitagraph war sltory m'll be presented entitled "For France." The war scenes are fretfli and realistic; they are mostly open warfare and there is some positively amazing aeroplane work. The scenes in Paris at the outbreak of the war are the genuine thing and the whole drama is most satisfying. .For Tuesday the much dascweil novel by Victoria Cross entitled ' 'Five Nigifots," will be the central item of the series. It lias /attracted a lot of notice and opinions am divided as to its position in the film world. It is a series of adventures in the life of a young artist and the action takes place 011 five successive nights so that the story moves quickly. Anita Stewart in "Hie Awakening'' and a musing eo_ mody nvitb Fatty Arbuckle in the fore- I front make up Tuesday's triple bill. I Next Thursday Billie Burke will he seen in "Peggy" wfhich was her first I great success for the pictures and is , considered to be one of heir finest per-' formances.
