The New Zealand Farmers' Distributing Co., reports 'to-dtay: The table potato market has been rather well supplied during the week principally owing to the laiige shipments of Australian timbers having just arrived, but prices still remain fairly firm. Oats "of all descriptions are at the moment in demand, and prices, especially for White oat®, remain -very firm. Maize is not over-plentiful, with figures slightly advanced. .Ryegrass is now being aslked for in fail- quantities, with firm rates ruling. Cocksfoot is also iin slight demand, with values firm. Fowl wheat is still_ coming forward in fair quantities. Pork is still in very short supply, and I any lines offered recently have been snapped up at-once at high prices. (Eggs a.re now coming forward in fair quantities, with prices fairly firm.. Honey in bulk is at the moment rather short and any lines offered have been snapped up quickly at satisfactory prices. Cabbages are at the moment slightly more plentiful, and prices have gone back a little accordingly. Cauliflowers are also fairly plentiful, with prices a bit easier. Carrots are in good supply, with a low rate. Onions have been more plentiful during the week, audi values nave accordingly dropped. White turnips are stilll fairly plentiful, with low rate ruling. Lettuce are in fair supply with/ prices about normal. Beetroot is not' plentiful and rates have advanced. Spring onions, are in good supply at the moment with, prices fairly steady. Parsnip quotations are easy. Marrows are not plentiful, and prices have advanced slightly. Swedes are still in excess of the demand, pumpkin® are not over plentiful, and, rates have advanced. Celery as a bit short, with prices firm. Leieiks are coming forward ini good quantities, with prices fairly easy. Rhubarb is now being offered in small quantities and good prices are ruling. Apples, dessert, are still coming forward in fair quantities with firm rates ruling. Apples, cooking, are also coming forward in small lots, with' prices firm. Cooking pears are not over-plen-tiful and' figures have advanced slightly. Potatoes, prime £11 15s to £12. Cabbage, choice 4s to 8s per sack. Cauliflower, 6s t» 13s per sack. Carrots, best 3s to 6s per sack. Onions, £27 per ton. Turnips, white 3s to 4's 6d per rack. 1/ettuce, choice 3s to 7s per case. 'Beetroot, 4s to 7s 6d par sacik. Spring onions, Is' per bundle.
