I Thorp is no doubt that we in 'Now Zealand are gradually waking up to the fact that big money can be made i h.y growing crops for winter feeding, luf; so far wo have only touched the fringe of the question. How is it that small countries like Denmark and Switzerland procluce such wonderful quantities of dairy and farm produce? Mainly by growing root crops for winter feedl, and to a less extent somo feed for summer and autumn fattening. The vast majority of tlho farmers in New Zealand can easily increase the carrying capacity of their Hand by the same mean®. A good: crop of Carrofe, Mangels, Swedes or Turnips will produce from say forty to seventy tons per acre. We grow a large acreage in oarrofe for seed each year. Now, in yellow carrots we have perfected by selection on our own farms in New Zealand the finest liype and stock that it to be had in any part of the world—Cooper's Giant Yeiiow. It is immense in size and cropping powers, and fine and dean in shape with a wonderful' high percentage of dry matter. This splendlid carrot gives added richness and colour to the milk and cream. Out seed is new crop. New Zealand grown and tented by the Department of Agriculture, showing a fine percentage of growth. Yt>u cannot afford "to do without sowing some of Cooper's "Giant" this season. We feel sure of this and therefore want you to sow it. If you have planted our Feed, before we know that you will use no other. Jf you have not and will write to us we will post you ia, packet for trial without charge. The quality of our "Seeds of Success" and the good will of the planters are our best advertisement. It will put pounds in your pocket for every penny you spend on the peed!
