Competition was good and a clearance made at the following prices: Light fatewes, 28s (id; forward condition ewes, 2(is (id; good hoggets, 21s ; medium hoggets, 17s 9(1 to 18s 9d; small hoggets, 14s 2d to 15s Od: cows in milk, £9 10s. Messrs Abraham and Williams Ltd., report: At Levin on Tuesday we yarded fairly large entries of both sheep and cattle, which were well competed for, prices * being slightly better than ruling rates. Prime heavy fat wethers, £2 5s Gd; prime heavy fat ewes, 395; prime wethers, 355, 395, 42s ; prime ewes, 3ls (id; forward ewes, 23s Id, 2(is; forward wethers, 335; 2 tooth ewes and wethers mixed, 30s; good hoggets, 245; medium hoggets, -!0s; cull hoggets, 13s 3d; cull ewes in lamb, 14s 8d; cows close to profit, £13 ss, £15; store cows, £4 10s, £4 17s, £5 3s; mix ed yearlings, £2 10s, £3 ss; 18 months steers, £5 (is; 18 months heifers, £4; s.h. bull, £13 10s.
